Bluey has the best toys; they are durable and kid proof. I've bought other bluey toys in the past and my 4-year-old grandson still plays with them, they are his favorites to this day and still look new. my youngest grandson just turned one years old, so I bought the Bluey 6-volt electric car for his first birthday. it says it's for 2-year-old kids, but I got it anyways because I also have a 2-year-old granddaughter that can enjoy it as well... well, they all loved it, including my 4-year-old grandson too. the car pretty much comes assembled, you just have to connect the 6-volt batterie that's included, and the steering wheel requires 2 AAA batteries that are not included, to operate the features. I couldn't believe how bright the headlights were, it does ha a separate switch to turn them off if needed. there is also a forward and reverse switch as well. the steering wheel has buttons for a horn and the dial moves around to play the Bluey theme song and other kid's noises. My one pear old new right away to sit on it and after helping him put his foot on the pedal, along he went... needed a little push on the carpet but the traction is great. he will need a little time to get the steering concept down, but he knows how to make it move. the look on his face was worth every penny I spent on the car. while other similar electric cars cost as much as a few hundred dollars, I only paid $89 and free shipping with Amazon Prime. my daughter lives in an apartment, so she was freaking out about the size of the box it came in but it's a lot smaller that the box, it was just well packed to prevent shipping damage. I highly recommend this purchase.

NOTE: the 2 AAA batteries that go in the steering wheel were a little tricky since I have huge hands and the screw is very small and will fall out when loose. but once I got it lined up, and tightened it was fine. you also have to unscrew the seat and lift it from the back to access the 6-volt battery and connect the two plugs. I suggest you do this before you attach the round wheel storage box on back, so you can access the screw with ease.

I got this car for my 2 boys (3 &6). It’s listed for kids 2-5 but its bluey so I had to get it. (They are both under the weight limit) It came already assembled in the box (except for a cup holder and storage bin on the back which were easy to add). The directions made it easy to connect the main battery (included) and add aaa batteries (they aren’t included) to the steering wheel for sound effects. I loved the details like the headlights and the cup holder. It’s a good size but doesn’t take up too much room. There were only a few things that could be improved but weren’t a big deal. It was hard to get the cover back on after adding the the AAA to the steering wheel, and you need to make sure to charge the car after each use and monthly when not in use (this is not unique to this car; previous kid cars we’ve had did the same thing. I guess it makes sense since in real cars you have to keep driving/ starting or the battery will die). Overall I’m very pleased. The battery life seemed to last a long time and it entertained my boys for hours.

I Purchased this super cool interactive ride on vehicle for my 6 year old as a birthday gift.
this was the most affordable option we could find. very pleased with it and so is my little guy!
assembly was extremely easy; it was nearly ready to go right out of the box. Only took about 30 minutes to have it up and running.

works well, on a side note: i should be given a complementary screwdriver for the money i paid. from reading the page (i could be wrong) it didn't say it required a screwdriver, so i just opened it up at a place without a screwdriver. shrug i believe this should be standard for all products tho, not just specifically this one. if it requires something, it should be in the package. Just like how some equipment sends allen wrenches and screws.
